Financial markets still in uncertainty, U.S. employment data fail to dispel doubts
Financial markets remain shrouded in uncertainty after U.S. labor market data failed to dispel doubts about the Fed’s next moves. Both equities and bonds are heading toward an uncertain session.

Our intermarket dashboards continue to point to a very fragile risk-on phase, with risk indicators lacking momentum. Equities are hovering around the short-term moving average, bonds are rebounding off the medium-term one, while commodities are losing steam.
On the macro front, the day features data on Japanese exports, inflation in the United Kingdom, labor cost trends in the euro area, and business confidence in Germany.
Our forward-looking analyses point to an uncertain session for equity markets, with technical indicators stable but valuations declining. This uncertainty is also evident across other markets, while volatility is expected to edge slightly lower.
