Financial Markets Face a Week of Earnings and U.S. Inflation Data
The week on financial markets begins with some glimmers of hope on the U.S.–China tariff front and great anticipation for upcoming corporate earnings reports (with major players like Netflix, Coca-Cola, Tesla, and Intel set to release their numbers), as well as for U.S. inflation data for September, expected on Friday. Equities are seen in positive territory, with volatility remaining stable.

Our intermarket dashboards confirm a cautious stance among investors, even though gold is losing some momentum and the medium-term trends in both equities and bonds remain solid.
On the macroeconomic front, today’s focus will be on data regarding the performance of the Chinese economy, as well as producer prices in Germany and Canada.
Forecast analyses point to a positive start to the week for equity markets, with slightly more uncertainty in Europe. In the bond market, the outlook remains one of wait-and-see, while in commodities the situation continues to be uncertain. Volatility remains stable.
